It was about six months ago, when Sony announced that cause vague 3D compatibility with the PlayStation 3 - sans Blu-ray - planned over a firmware update for this summer. What is missing to say which of the three summer months to would stand. Well, after a recent number of PlayStation Official Magazine interview, not wait much longer.
In the interview, was told that would be the latest firmware update hit the PS3 next month (June), probably in conjunction with E3. The latest update adds 3D capabilities of the PS3 game with 3D support of Blu-ray that strikes at a later date.
We hope that is not 3D games, the only thing we have, as there were also rumors about a redesigned XMB, and other features added that would be a nice change.
Stay tuned to the PlayStation LifeStyle, as we will be sure to let you know as soon as the PS3 firmware hits worldwide in the next month. Oh, and if you have forgotten what it looks like 3D games, a short demonstration of WipEout HD below.
