Prince of Perisa: Forgotten Sands Review (360/PS3)
Ubisoft not stereotypes, but if it has would be the best stereotypes in the world! What? They do! Well blow me down, I thought Assassins Creed was stereotype free ...
Sarcasm excluded, Prince of Persia returns to his next trip to the second generation, but this time again in the Sands of Time story arc. Inspired in-between the first and the second installment, the Prince was his rule to learn Brothers, a leader of men. Unfortunately, perhaps the only member of the royal family to travel alone, the city is by his brother attacked by an army of nameless, but obviously wrong. Why am I angry? So in contrast to the prince and his family speak Arabic, so they have to the evil.
Everything goes to hell, born when his brother, Prince Solomon army of outputs, from infected sand. The prince soon gain powers at the same time and never mentioned that this power, something he controlled or played with before. So the prince, collect the power of the "Genius" on the way to gain control over the elements, and reverse what has done his brother.
Ubisoft said at the beginning of this project, the roots of the series were ground in an attempt to return the magic of "The Sands of Time to bring discs." With an upcoming feature film, combined with this earlier statement, the story would teach the new title. Fortunately, the history (and me) as proven wrong. Prince of Persia: Sands Forgotten not only a great homage to the original PS2 game, but on improving their basic structure.
Forgotten Sands is much more tolerant than their counterparts in the Sands of Time trilogy (now quadology?). Jumps, which are only millimeters away from the connection with your target now awarded to jump with the Prince of adapting your vehicle. Jumping on a pole no longer needed, the time back with the prince off under him painfully in a beautiful animation. While the puzzles acrobatic as ever, are included with some new ideas because of the control element, the game you will not die easily. The veterans of the series will probably reverse the skills used once per hour! Almost one wonders why it is here, with the reversal of the time, that you again determined on the last safe place in your actions, but as a goal from you.
Combat in The Sands of Time "is easily the weakest point of the game and the developers have done in this notice. The prince is much slower than its 2003 counterpart, swinging his sword with style and meaning, rather than flashy strikes binding. A 5 hit combo is the longest, all associated with a key, but this combo can be changed. Each swing can be fed by pressing, while a kick sends out another key enemies fly onto the floor. Of course, the stunt-Flip is back in the game but now with even more style. Instead, create the same old "over the top, slash-routine", the Prince jumps on the backs of his enemies and has a number of combos from there. The game dares even to a mockery of the opponent with a score for the jump on his back 30 enemies without touching the ground and without the use of special powers.
Let the list of the combo seems a bit "is missing, but in reality is that decisions of the opponent, hit your combo. With a number of different members of Solomon's army to attack weakness to identify enemy and prioritize is essential. Even if They do not have to kill the enemy through the heart with the dagger of time (not to start in the game) to kill them, they take a completely won before crumbling. Prioritization is a bit "easier if it was not for the number the enemies within the first hour I was with 20 opponents before the end of 50 busy! Because of this exponential increase in the number of enemies on the screen, the slower the Prince actually more acrobatic and skillful than the previous Prince is going fast. It is strange to say that since the lock is absent and only the Dodge can be used to prevent attacks.
For every fallen warrior, the prince has 1XP result, the values for the collection of a number of sets to Prince. This UPS-level allows the player to upgrade to the princes, which nothing can choose from more health damage. On the other hand, we could dispense with standard capacity on one of the four fundamental forces in order to make use in the fight. Each will have different uses, the fire is a swath of damage that anyone who crosses, explosions of ice on a line before each attack, all enemies caught in the wave hits, the wind creates a vortex that beats all opponents away and Stone creates an armor stone to increase your defense. Everyone needs a point of the activation energy, but is extremely effective and can be leveled as you progress, so any more power .... Powerful.
One might think that this power-up mechanic would in the new ability to work the controls, but would be too obvious. Instead of changing world these skills to fixed points in the game of "Genius is set '. Each power can be used to the world by it in a practical way to change is not. With these new powers of water to your Power Bar firm hands, so you use it in all sorts of acrobatics. The funniest moments is when you use these forces when they are on and off during a move, it seems just awesome. Naturally, the other three elements of powers, the world influence, even, but I will not spoil the fun.
The art for the production team should be praised one), something beautiful, 2) a perfect balance in the character design for the prince, collecting both Warrior Within and Sands of Time in a single model. If, like me, you were in the Forgotten Sands walk with a chip on his shoulder, waiting for a trial under par, a new-age classic, the opening cut scene change my opinion now. Yes, this is a reaction to the more superficially beautiful graphics, but now you can see that the developers have tried to make this game while staying true to the series. Forgotten Sands is on the same engine that was founded in Assassins Creed built, although the look and style is different, not knowing enough for you (even where a suit is available Ezio uPlay).
to be Prince of Persia: The Sands forgotten, no longer than his hosts, but do not do enough to feel like a whole package. Even one hour longer, probably would have been right, but instead, you get the feeling that the game just a bit "too short. The action takes place in an obvious way, but the developers were obviously trying the mistakes of the" Two Thrones "to avoided, since under this end 'The Sands of Time' never happened and it did not. In my opinion, not enough in relation to dialogue refers to the previous adventures of the Prince, with only the name of Farah appear in the first play three hours, but no mention of the Sands. Do not get me wrong, I think that slots perfectly Forgotten Sands in the series, simply do not have much to tell you know that
Forgotten Sands is a perfect recreation of Wonder in 2003, everything seems much more pleasant than it was then. Having recently played at 'The Sands of Time "again recently, the game is poor, aged, and while it feels like the new title follows the same exact formula, improved on it exponentially. The return of the voice of the Prince of the first game of the series is a welcome touch, its pretty funny jokes with his brother, despite his attempts to "Drake" complaints witty style is not binding on the public as well as Mr. North is doing (which expressed the new prince).
Overall, the game is an excellent effort to bring the player to the longing for the original Sands of Time is the feeling that it must enjoy a hardcore fan is not in this game, what it is. Although the level of difficulty is greatly reduced (not the last Prince of Persia-level), it promotes a little bit "more risky maneuver with your. I do not think I play move more for my first lesson, always want more, and risks to forget the reward look exciting, cool (oh God, I'm shallow). The people that the game is a form of entertainment, his heart is, has not Ubisoft.'s forgotten Prince of Persia Sands of fun from beginning to end, and I would not call any POP fans to gather for a fool.
Now, Ubisoft, the property at the end of the new Prince ... ..
