GoldenEye 007 videogame remake confirmed as Wii-exclusive
Goldeneye 007 remake of the game for the Nintendo Wii was announced and confirmed by Activision. Developed by Eurocom, is a literal remake of the Nintendo 64 Rare masterpiece that the world of video games was lit by a fire in 1997.
These were the games, then you will be GoldenEye remember literally revolutionized the first-person shooter genre and the FPS console on the market. It marks the debut of the population or a series of FPS console as standard deathmatch four-player split-screen, a deep single-player campaign with multiple difficulties, coined the term "objective" to complete the mission, the console industry warehouse FPS the term "Doom-clone" ("GoldenEye" was so different from the comparison of Doom was just silly) and marks the beginning of the "dual-armed" mode before the Master Chief, a step on the scene.
Of course all this is set in 2010, GoldenEye 007 is not necessarily a game that has aged well. Then again, the reason is because it is an exclusive N64, where muddy, blurry textures and framerate problems, the experience is ruined. The game has never been reprinted or updated.
Until now.
GoldenEye for the N64 one of the most successful games, and fans was regularly cite as one of the most influential and important book in history, "said David Pokress, head of marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing. "We are thrilled to bring GoldenEye 007 new players from all over the world as a whole new adventure that seamlessly with moments of nostalgia films GoldenEye innovative FPS gameplay and multiplayer action, which is his equal on the platform."
Replace Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig, the latest update of the graphics level (although this is a Wii game, so no Xbox Gears of War) and the update as the game plays itself, Activision hopes to rediscover the magic of a new generation of players.
GoldenEye 007 has an unprecedented lineup to encourage four-player split-screen multiplayer options, social play, a total of 40 players how to play in multiplayer (8 classic Bond characters), 5 maps, 3 standard mode and 16 - special modifiers to allow the players to create hundreds of combinations's. GoldenEye 007 also offers online multiplayer for up to eight players for online gamers FPS mode and seasoned with a robust system of XP designed to gain experience and results unlockable online.
Updates or other changes include:
* Health regeneration is now. You do not get health packs. This is consistent with the typical modern standards of health regeneration in many FPS games.
* The player can now turn on window sills or railings.
* The player can perform melee attacks in order to eliminate the enemies.
* The site was rewritten, but made all the great moments that people remember the Rare developed N64 original.
* All the classic GoldenEye 007 guns and weapons, the players back such good memories. But the Klobb (name of Nintendo's Ken Lobb back in the day) was changed to "Klebb," which explains how street called "From Russia with Love" bad Rosa Klebb.
GoldenEye 007 also supports the Classic Controller Wii Pro players to the regular FPS controls and the Wii Zapper for "Point and Shoot to play," players, the players more options and control system that can experiment with them to GoldenEye 007 on Wii anyway to play.
No word on whether the game support the GameCube controller or not. It is also not a release date. But it is possible that the game could make this year.
We hope that the game is good and can help the market first person shooter for Wii, a genre that was low on the platform. I also hope that strong sales will support the idea by Rare, Activision and Microsoft can negotiate a deal, to doing an updated version of the original game on Xbox Live Arcade version, like with Rare Perfect Dark. A project that has been said often, but not if the parties do not agree to money and the like. And / or I hope they can be updated re-release the original version, in any form to the Wii Virtual Console.
Here is the debut trailer of the game.
