Hulu Coming to a PS3 Near You [REPORT]

Bloomberg reports that Sony was close to finalizing a deal with Hulu to the TV-service support to its PlayStation 3 game console to be paid.
familiar Bloom Berg, citing two people with the matter said the partnership announced next week could already. If this deal becomes a reality it is said, could drastically change the landscape-connected TV, which is currently under serious - if any - development.

The plans for a paid service Hulu says that since last fall, and the escalation in the building until the release of IPAD's. The advantages of a paid service co-exist - with the current free service - are potentially beneficial to both content creators and consumers.
For content creators, the increase is simple: more money. I have always maintained that the only real problem with Hulu, networks, however, that it was also successful. Not many people should take off Hulu, as it was. A subscription service allows them, at least in theory deserve a little "more (money or lose a bit" less, depending on your perspective) service, while increasing its offer.
For end users, a subscription will be much higher if it means that you see Hulu on other devices, such as your IPAD or PS3, as well as access to a broad library of content. Also, because Hulu is reportedly talking with CBS to offer their content through the subscription service, users could also access more parts of content.
First official Hulu Hulu had TV Solution option for the PS3 the first official Hulu TV solution. Although many other services - have tried, including, boxing - Hulu to bring for the big screen, Hulu is more difficult from the road.
Interestingly, Hulu Hulu own desktop app starts, while last year the application was supposedly for the "lean-back machine-visual experience, the fact that it supports Windows Media and Apple Remote controls outside the box - not to the scale mention of the menus and icons - makes clear that the interface was considered, at least for the TV viewer. In fact, with my Mac mini HTPC, I enjoyed Hulu on my 40 "HDTV for almost a year. Of course would with a more integrated experience with an existing consumer device even better.
PS3: The Ultimate Media Player? The fact that Hulu can partner with Sony, instead of launching his own box is interesting, and we think, say. For the simplest way for businesses of the device and software vendors of set-top, their product into the hands of consumers is to build a separate box. However, connected with a million boxes to the TV is not a pleasant experience. Take a low-level home video fan, the more boxes you have separated, the less likely you are not to use the various functions.
Why am I like my love Devices LG Blu-ray player. access in a single device, Netflix, pandora, YouTube, the home network, vudu, and DivX. In addition to know Blu-ray playback. While the Roku box and the box next Boxee not like a Blu-ray developed, which has access to a ton of different services into a single device. This is the powerful spell.
Currently supports the PlayStation 3 Netflix can rent or download movies and the connection to the home network. European users will soon be able to access content from MUBI great movie. Even if you buy a game for the PlayStation 3, the device is not a great value proposition for storage.
With support for Hulu, the value of the PS3 even more. Appealing aspects such as Google and other TV solutions are connected, only that they suffered Hulu support of the PS3 a big advantage over the competition.
What is really interesting to see if Hulu has decided that its subscription service in the way that most producers Netflix license. Netflix has a very clever here a year ago, a handful of Blu-ray players also support Netflix. Now hard to find a player that is not supported to find the service. There are a variety of built-in value for future participants or participants to return when the function of the integrated devices are already buying.
What do you think? The idea of a subscription service is to get Hulu on your PS3? Would you be willing to buy a PS3 for the ability to Hulu content on the big screen? Let us know.
