James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace Sale-$9.99!
Surprisingly good
If a multi-game consoles will be released as a movie tie, the PS2 usually ends with a watered-down port. While Quantum of Solace for PS2 can not be everywhere, as technically strong as its next-gen counterparts, but it takes a whole new spin on the game. Instead of using a first-person view than the next-gen versions, the PS2 Quantum of Solace instead uses a third person over the shoulder view, which works quite well for themselves. Inclusion of some stealth missions, where the game also helps, as this PS2 version ends pretty good feeling that From Russia with Love game that EA has released a few years ago, recalls. For a late PS2 game of life does Quantum of Solace, and sounds pretty good, despite some technical mistakes. The only real flaw is with Quantum of Solace, the game is quite short, and when you are done, there is nothing to do. Not contain additional or even a multiplayer mode, which is a great disappointment. However, the PS2 version of Quantum of Solace a surprisingly good game while it lasts, and even more surprising is the way better than their brothers, the version of the next generation. Definitely worth it if you keep still with you at your PS2 and I'm a fan of Bond, or the desire some decent enough action.
Short, but better than expected
I'm not a big fan of video games based on films. I often find these boring games, because they usually follow the plot of the film is based on. I prefer games that are more original. So I was trying a bit "reluctant Quantum of Solace. Can say after the game by playing me, I'm pleasantly surprised. Quantum of Solace brings together some of the most important action scenes for the movie Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale. The game follows the general plot Quantum of Solace, but filled with elements that are not seen in the film. About the middle of the game, the flashback story of six months and follows the general plot of Casino Royale. Once this is completed, followed by the last scenes of the game, again, the shares of Quantum of Solace.
The game uses a third-person perspective, but see the action from above or from the side angle to see the view over Bond's shoulder. It is an interesting advantage that I saw mix not in a game that seems the best of both first-person shooter and a better third-person view of the game. The game play is fairly simple and includes a passage at the beginning.
There are three levels of difficulty. The first two modes are simple enough for anyone to play through, but the 007-mode is incredibly difficult. In one experiment, the 007-play setting, neither my brother nor I could make it above the level of solution. 007 you have to be incredibly stealthy and precise when you are more than twice you will be taken dead
The game is very short. I'm just a casual player and was able to play the entire game in about four hours. This can be a good thing, but because of the initial cost of the game is a kind of catch. In addition, the game has extras like there's no multiplayer mode, no video cutscenes and replayable. The segments between the levels are just pictures of people with a map and voice-overs, no video. Therefore, the game is not worth much, except in a repetition of the game and the game more difficult settings.
Overall, Quantum of Solace a decent game for PS2. In its initial offer, I recommend renting the game to play, if you're a big fan of James Bond. Otherwise, just rent for now, and if you want to buy a couple of months to wait until the price goes down.
Better than next-gen counterpart
This game was a surprise for me. I had the PS3 version since it was published and had beaten three times, and really enjoyed it. Then I heard from IGN that this version of the game was better and I decided to take it. You were right.
The PS2 version had more atmosphere Bond then the PS3 version. It enters the mind of James Bond. The cover system is much more with a precision and thought. It is easy to replace cover and kill the enemy. The graphics are good enough for the PS2 game, not distract from the game as a whole. The coolest part is the boss fights. Are epic as the iconic hero. And if you sneak behind someone and enter the key combination is a Bond villain who kills bad. Add a film like quality, which requires the game. This is only with the point system, but once you get used to it no problem.
I am not saying that the PS3 version is bad, that I really loved both, but the PS2 version captures the essence of the bond, while the PS3 version was more of a FPS COD with James Bond. The bottom line is to try to compare these two titles. Will the love and I love them both. Both are a bit "behind the franchise benchmarks Goldeneye, but they are very funny.
