The Pros and Cons of Wii Fit

Today I am happy to be a regular reader of the host good writer, Sally Kilpatrick. Sally was with us before, has performed and we are delighted to have on their backs. Today it is about the pros and cons of the talks Wii Fit. Hi, Sally!
Let me first say thanks to the healthy writers to add me today blog. , I am inspired by travel and all the great stories she told, and I learn some great strategies as well.
I am writing today because I finally succumbed to the advertising campaign and a Wii and then soon bought the Wii Fit. I can not tell you that they are now fit enough to model for Victoria's Secret, but I must also admit that I miss my fitness goals let in the spring, when I finished my master. Sometimes I wonder whether it was worse off without the Wii Fit, punish me as I started out of line. Let me share with you what I learned about it, apply today and chimes with questions and suggestions.
First the Cons:
• is demanding While some of the activities of yoga and strength training, I can not see, always a very, very good training for the strength of Wii Fit. Similarly, some cardio will make you sweat, but it does not run on a treadmill or binge climbers scale.
• You must turn the blessed thing. Before I bought, I asked my best friend if she liked it and / or are found effective. His answer? I suspect that it would work if I used to it. As in all things, discipline will be required.
• The electronic voices and trainers, sometimes makes me want to throw things at them. I think I'm best to suppress the urge, if he is a real person who has asked me the reasons that I identify gained weight or who tells me I am "is a bit shaky."
• The proposed weights, women seem to be right about the Wii Fit thinks that a woman my age (30-mumble, mumble) and my height (5'4 ") should weigh 129, but the recommended weight for men seems asymmetric be-163 for my husband is 6'2 "and has great bone structure. Believe me when I say that would be far too thin, that weight, and it is not enough for my weight 30 pounds more than recommended, although I am shorter than he is.
And the Pro:
• The Wii can keep up with your progress and the available electronic confetti when you reach a goal. Yay, positive reinforcement!
• As someone who had never done yoga before, I like to feel the yoga program and is now safe to take a class with real people. The Wii Fit Plus "My routine is very good, suggest a program of yoga. You can also combine yoga and strength training.
• The aerobic activities, and the Wii Sports package with the Wii in general is a fun way to burn excess calories. (I love the rhythm boxing, step forward, and tennis.)
• With the Wii Fit is a great way to keep your regular routine and / or receive a complete workout on a rainy day. If our treadmill is dead, can my husband and I together and share the steps to the activities of the Wii Fit to break us and to our respective plateaus.
• Some of these core strength exercises such as in particular in the traditional "Plank" is very difficult. And useful. But the most strenuous.
• The Wii does not help you with your form of training in yoga and strength exercises as well as stress, posture and flexibility.
My conclusion?
I think that Wii Fit really works well in tandem with an exercise routine that includes vigorous cardio and strength training routine. I usually only go to the gym on Monday and Wednesday and the use of the Wii Fit on Tuesdays and Thursdays, until this routine is going well, I see good results. I also noticed that recently I can do much better start with smaller goals and more frequently "Holidays", and the Wii Fit with two weeks of objectives.
The Wii Fit might be a good buy for the new ones are to fitness and he needs to work up to more strenuous exercises or for someone who can not afford either to live a subscription to a gym or not near a gym. Like all things, some points might be boring, but the Wii Fit offers a great variety.
Especially as the children play the games of balance and exert some aerobic activity is a family affair. We may prevent some games like Wii Sports Tennis as a possibility, or to burn a few calories when you play splurge on dessert. Our latest obsession is the "only" dance game for Wii, trust me when I say MC Hammer, you will be breathless at the end of the dance routines. Of course we saw the guys in our street so much weight that my eight-year-old said: "The Wii Fit is bad." I have not the courage to tell him that is not the fault of the Wii, that his mother has an addiction to chocolate.
And now it's up to you ...
I can not wait to try some of the largest programs Loser or Jillian Michaels be. If someone wants to share an experience with these programs or the Wii in general? Someone has thrown something at the television, said because the foot on the Balance Board and the voice: "oo" can make in this way, electronic mock-horror, only the Wii Fit? I would love to hear your stories, Wii Fit, and I can answer all your questions I do. Thanks again to all those beautiful women, healthy Writers.
