Review: Green Day: Rock Band (PS3)

Really? Green Day?
No one claims that Green Day has been churning out hits and recorded for the closure of twenty years. If you look at the other Rock Band and Guitar Hero band certain titles out there, you see Aerosmith, Van Halen, Metallica and The Beatles. All of them have at least ten years, Green Day, let me now quite clear that I am a big fan of Green Day, and I think they are completely deserved the treatment they receive in Green Day: Rock Band. It should be noted, however, that EA and Harmonix cut a percentage of a percentage of the market price to have here.
The music of Green Day
The album has 47 songs to play, that's about as many songs as The Beatles: Rock Band, but there is one important difference: Each of the great successes of Green Day will appear on the disc. When you play a song that you are very familiar, you know it only because the rest is already on disk. Let me be more specific here. The disc is the entirety of American Idiot American Idiot and on it, and in combination with existing content download, the latest Green Day album "21st Century Break Down to play. There are a handful of other songs Warning, Nimrod and Insomiac to me believe that these albums makes it appear as DLC in the future. Compare this filled with The Beatles: Rock Band, the large for about half and half (which I may be the best ever recorded pen) and Green Day is the best add value. This is a better way to do this: Give us a few albums and a handful more shots, then we sell to the other albums.
I think the track list is perfect, and I would not change a single title for another. The only problem I have is that, especially in their earlier work, there is a considerable amount of profanity, and all completely silent. With respect to EA, would the task of marketing something that is made to endure probably limited use of the additional challenge of a higher age classification is no longer likely. While I understand why this is necessary with the public what it is, I find it annoying. Of course you can sing, if you do not punish the profanity and want the game, or you can the way the game is forgotten. It is an imperfect but acceptable compromise.
If you had enough of isolated experiences in the game, you are entitled to the songs from the CD and play in Rock Band 1, 2 or 3 if you are so inclined to export. This feature is not on the Wii, PS3 and 360 exist only. This was something we all missed the game Beatles, and it is nice to see that possibility here. It is too good to be able to improvise with the music and paste notes distortion drum fills.
Until three-part harmonies to make a comeback by the Beatles, which is ideal for those with higher skills of singing.
Three guys, three local
Green Day are a small group with only three guys in it. This is Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. Her portraits are used in the game, and the similarities are quite good, as in The Beatles: Rock Band. Are very stylized, rather than be super realistic, it works well. The animations are done quite well too. One thing that was strange, what Armstrong, Paul McCartney, seemed to me a number of songs. subtle changes are occurring boys during her career at the three sites, but are not customizable in any way. Just like the Beatles, you can not choose which song you play, play if you want. The ability to export the songs and play them in Rock Band 2, however, is why, if you do not find the $ 9.99 a nuisance. You can create your character there and sing songs. Just not everywhere you want. And, of course, will never look exactly like your favorite member of Green Day
There are only three places in the game, and most of all the songs by album, with the exception of the few songs that are not from American Idiot, idiot, or breakdown in context. I expect in future album releases may come with additional facilities. It would be nice.
Lasting value
One of the brilliant things about Green Day as the band's music has changed over time. If you are the first songs head in this game, it is as if you're listening to another tape. I think there are a lot of early Green Day fans are about what changed over the years, especially when listening to some songs, and easier on the division, but I think that, as the Beatles, the one band whose style change is to complain at the time such a project also suitable. You can with an abundance of special content that is easily solved here, affected also some cool photos and some really good videos of live shows and the like.
Many photos will be released only songs with three or five stars. Some of the other bonuses are unlocked with a credit system where you earn points and had three five-star songs on the first time. These points are to unlock things. On medium difficulty, I have rarely found a song twice scored five stars, so when I finished the 47 songs on the disc was, I opened all the challenges. The challenges are basically a set list, the three tracks or entire albums features. Beat them to win with a certain rating, unlocking more bonuses.
Online gambling is essentially identical to what we saw of Rock Band in the past. It is funny and effective, but never as great as when playing with friends in the same room.
A great leap forward
All in all, Green Day: Rock Band one product better than The Beatles: Rock Band. I'm not talking about the music here, only the product itself can only assume that Harmonix has the criticism of the Beatles (some of us made to lament heard enough knew) and redressed many of these problems here later. It is also possible that those responsible for Green Day's not nonsense in the license were. They should.
Finally, I am with what happened here happy. It is a title much more satisfying and longer lasting than the previous one, although probably not go anywhere near to sell many copies.
