SG Review: Toy Story 3 (PS3)

Toy Story 3 is one of the most impressive games I've played in a little "time. In sharp contrast to most movie tie-in titles, it is really good. Of course, leave, the intrinsic qualities of Disney Interactive Study to make justice a good fit with its interactive.

That's not to say that Toy Story 3 is for all. Despite the appeal for all age groups of the mark, the game tastes a bit 'youngest player, the average American - 34 years, according to SEC statistics identified Game Politics. Story mode is, as expected, framed around key events of the film. This is not a copy of the film, scene by scene, though. The opening scene of the train is an extension of its counterpart on the screen, and some of the most interesting and unusual levels actually explore the inner secrets of the human imagination, especially important character franchises Andy, but also newcomers and participants Sunnyside Bonnie. The game is a mixture of platform solve simple, basic puzzles, item collection, and futile struggles careless. In essence, this is a standard third-person platform with Toy Story healthy and attractive veneer covered. The player switches between Woody, Buzz and Jessie, each with a unique ability, environmental puzzle-solving aid. Some levels require the cooperation of all three characters, while others are specific Woody or Buzz.
With only eight levels, the player simply cured by Story explosion in an afternoon. Toy Box mode is a completely different animal. Woody, Buzz and Jessie is playable for Toy Box, PlayStation 3 owners, but also enjoy the exclusive Emperor Zurg. Toy Story 3 for PlayStation 3 also features two-player split screen for both Story and Toy Box.
With a short campaign and a forgiving game from Toy Story 3 is not for everyone, but the dollar traditional movie tie-in stigma - and indeed the parents with their children without consciously welcoming the cold kiss of the scythe enjoy Harvester. More importantly, however, is proof that a first-to-film game can be very satisfying when a developer willing and able to use some care and attention given to invest in the project.
