Sonic Colors - finally 360-quality graphics on Wii?
Recent history has taught me not to rejoice at the new Sonic games. But what about the quality of the gameplay of Sonic colors, there is no denying the visual of the game are very good.
This rate should it feel like end for a Wii game ', but for once, I will leave. And then I will highlight some examples of why this game graphics are 360 Quality. Ceilings on Geek? Good. Here we go ...
The frame rate
Sure, it's almost impossible to say exactly how fast is an Internet video game, but just the trailer, I'm sure that will run at 30 frames per second. Gears of War runs at 30 fps, and no one complains that shots are.
Perhaps the closest a Sonic game has seen in relation to the movement of the Sonic colors would be that the section was in Sonic Adventure's Red Mountain, when he went into the volcano:
This feeling is here, gliding in spades, but with no movement of nervous disposition.

The complexity of the scenario
If you get more control, where the film camera is to bet, you can use a few tricks to make things look better than they would in a free-roaming 3D game. Any type of lead on the main line, a layer of flat scenario leaves behind more defined - the kind of thing has done in racing games for years.

That is, the density of the landscape here is unusual. A 480p/576i/480i resolutions of the Wii, not the textures have to look to be extremely detailed, but even there the walls and platforms choppy layers head and shoulders above most games on the system. In light of all this flying at a million miles per hour, there is an incredible attention to detail.
There are always films
The light blooms, translucent glass, walkways show glimpses of land by the colored glass ... Even sweet voice boxes have glass effects. While the shots do not show here, the game also has a screen-filling distortions and blurring effects at full speed, so that the landscape look even better than at low speeds.
The result is not only a game that finally brings the 2.5D Sonic, I always dreamed of ...

... Probably makes great versions of Sonic four look a little 'only pap. Just an observation.
Above: Sonic 4: Episode 1 is running on a Xbox 360 Seems less good, right?
There are no compromises
The developers could easily get away with some Sprite flat scenario, but it seems like it was making a deliberate policy, as many elements of the scenario accurately as possible. Not only the buses on the big wheel are made individually, but it depends how it moves. This is the attention to detail.

Beautiful light sourcing
The reason for the overall effect is so lush is the way lighting is used to collect information, in stages rather dark. The whole theme park concept was clearly used to ensure that the screen is always busy. Sonic seems to pick the colors of light is passed to. An old trick but one that he looks like a real part of this world, not just something stuck up on it.
Above: Who cares if you are on track when the tracks are good as this?
If Sonic color was shown off and announced as an Xbox 360 or PS3 exclusive do not believe that someone would say, the pictures were also the basis for the systems. The point of the sounds is that the game, the intensity of the day Unleashed phases remains throughout the game. A look at the trailer shows that it is on track to achieve this goal is to:
If the game of this level, the entertainment, retail and the global atmosphere through a ten or 15 hours of a game to keep, Wii owners will have something special to shout.
