PS3 To Stream Major League Baseball Games

In an article in The New York Times today it was announced that Sony's PlayStation 3 users the ability to stream is Major League Baseball games on the PS3. This of course, help with this and you will not be able to see, local games, as if you purchased the baseball package through DirecTV or Dish Network. But the real point of interest here is the live TV feed from the console.
We all knew that was possible, but this expectation of things to come? This will open doors for live TV on our game? Although it is unlikely that the content is only after this announcement, we hope that the door to more opportunities for us live by television content through the game console stream is in the future. I would be able to buy one season of a show on HBO and Showtime or FX, and not pay for all the crap I do. I would be happy to pay for content directly on my console (if the price was right), right?
